Time for an upgrade?
So, I ride this 1996 BMW R850R motorcycle. Had it now for 5 years, so as you can quickly deduct, it wasn’t exactly new when I got it either. Thing is, I’ve been looking at this one motorcycle now for a few years and I now find myself having enough dosh to actually go and buy one. Perhaps even a brand new one.
This is very tempting to me, as I do like to go out and buy myself new toys. However, this would be my most expensive toy to date, even if I do keep it for a number of years. Buying a new one does mean I’ll have a hard time recuperating any money on it. It’ll just lose value so fast. Unless I do decide to use it to not only get to work on, but also do some more runs on it. Like a trek through Europe or something. It’s definitely a bike that has the capability for such a ride. I wonder if I have the same capabilities? Guess there is only one way to find out.
Anyway, the bike I’m look at getting is this beauty (and beast, all rolled into one).
